Miles Sanders - Viewed as day-to-day Sanders is considered day-to-day after undergoing extensive tests on his foot/ankle and meeting with a specialist Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Impact Rapoport's report doesn't offer a precise diagnosis for the lower leg injury that Sanders suffered in this past Sunday's overtime win over the Giants, but the Panthers aren't expecting the running back to be in store for a long absence. Sanders will benefit from a Week 11 bye, but he'll need the swelling in his foot/ankle to go down before he's cleared to resume practicing. Even if Sanders is ready to go for the Panthers' next game Nov. 24 versus the Chiefs in Week 12, he could drop to third on the depth chart in the backfield behind Chuba Hubbard and rookie Jonathon Brooks (knee), the latter of whom is likely to be ready to make his NFL debut.

Adam Thielen - Added back to 53-man roster The Panthers reinstated Thielen (hamstring) from injured reserve Tuesday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.

Impact Carolina is on bye Week 11, but since Thielen's 21-day evaluation window came to a close Tuesday, he wouldn't have been eligible to play again this season had the Panthers not activated him. After having his window opened Oct. 23, Thielen was a limited participant in four of the Panthers' ensuing six practices, but he was listed as a non-participant in all three sessions during Week 10, which could hint at a setback in his recovery from the right hamstring injury he suffered back in Week 3. The bye week will provide Thielen with some added healing time, but he may need to upgrade to full participation in practice at some point in Week 12 to have a shot at playing in the Panthers' next game Nov. 24 versus the Chiefs. Whenever he's reinstated, Thielen could step into a prominent role in the Carolina passing attack after Diontae Johnson was traded to Baltimore on Oct. 29.

Impact Not only did Horn tie Xavier Woods for the Panthers' leading tackler Sunday, but he also helped hold rookie sensation Malik Nabers to just six catches for 50 yards, his second-lowest yardage of the season. Horn has impressed through the Panthers' first 10 games, recording 44 total tackles and 10 passes defended, including one interception. Expect the 2021 first-round pick to continue causing problems for opposing team's top wide receivers when the Panthers next take the field in Week 12 against Kansas City.

Miles Sanders - Seeing specialist Head coach Dave Canales told reporters that Sanders is seeing a specialist for his knee/foot injury Monday, Sheena Quick of Fox Sports Radio 1340 reports.

Impact Sanders played six offensive snaps and rushed twice for five yards before exiting Sunday's win over the Giants with a knee/foot injury. Canales also noted the team doesn't have much information on Sanders' injury at the moment, but they should know more following Monday's specialist visit.
