Expected to miss time Coach Doug Pederson said Monday that Edwards (hamstring) likely will miss games, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Impact Edwards exited this past Sunday's win over the 49ers with a hamstring injury and likely will sit out Week 5's matchup against the Steelers. The second-year pro has been a consistent contributor at middle linebacker this season, but Alex Singleton and Shaun Bradley will likely rotate in until Edwards returns.

Impact Edwards only handled 115 defensive snaps across 16 games as a rookie. Though he officially logged four starts, he never played more than 22 snaps on defense in a single contest. If the undrafted linebacker out of Wisconsin is able to take a step forward in his development heading into the second year of his career, the Eagles could see fit to rely on him to handle an expanded interior role. At the very least, Edwards' ability to contribute on both defense and special teams should secure him a spot on the 53-man roster.
