Mike Williams - Likely to play Sunday Williams, whom the Steelers acquired in a trade with the Jets on Tuesday, is expected to suit up in his new team's Week 10 matchup versus Washington, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Impact Williams has had less than a full week to familiarize himself with Pittsburgh's offensive playbook, but it appears he's done enough to be able to suit up Sunday. The veteran wideout struggled in his nine games with New York prior to the trade, totaling just 12 catches on 21 targets for 166 yards and no touchdowns. Williams will look to resurrect his season as the Steelers' No. 2 receiver alongside top wideout George Pickens.

Tyler Matakevich - Activated off IR The Steelers activated Matakevich (hamstring) from injured reserve Saturday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Matakevich was placed on IR due to a hamstring issue in mid-September and was designated to return Oct. 24. With his 21-day practice window nearing its end, the Steelers decided to activate the linebacker ahead of Sunday's matchup against Washington. Matakevich played exclusively on special teams during his two contests this season and will likely continue to serve in that role if he suits up Sunday.

Ben Skowronek - Activated off IR The Steelers activated Skowronek (shoulder) off injured reserve Saturday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Skowronek was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster each of the first two weeks of the season, and he was then signed to the active roster in mid-September. However, the wideout was immediately placed on IR upon the signing. Skowronek was designated to return earlier this week, and with his activation, he could return to the field Sunday against Washington. If he is active for the contest, Skowronek probably won't see much work on offense given that Pittsburgh's wideout corps is largely healthy and that he didn't see a target during either of the two games he has been active for so far this season.

Impact Pruitt initially suffered a knee injury in Week 2, causing him to miss four contests, but he was able to return to game action in Week 7. He wasn't listed on the injury report Wednesday, so perhaps this is more of a rest day or Pruitt may have suffered an aggravation of some sort. Pruitt has played 42 percent of the offensive snaps in games he's been healthy for this season, catching two of three targets for 19 yards. He's mainly been a blocker.
